Description: Contract: The Professional, Technical, and Analytical Services (PTAS) for Navy Information Operations Command (NIOC) contract is a MAC IDIQ consisting of multiple Task Orders providing IW/Cyber support to Fleet Cyber Command/Commander TENTH Fleet and its subordinate elements.

Program Overview: This Task Order supports the Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC) which provides Computer Network Defense services to the Navy Enterprise.

Duties/Responsibilities: CONTRACTOR will provide end users tiered-level customer support by coordinating software, hardware, network, and security issue resolution. May install, configure, troubleshoot, and provide maintenance and training. CONTRACTOR will provide day to day support for Fleet units including guidance, account creation, ePO functionality. CONTRACTOR will primarily follow SOPs / TTPs and escalate other issues. The CONTRACTOR shall facilitate delivery of HBSS SME tracking / artifacts / documentation to the HBSS Overarching Project Management / Team Lead or his / her designated representative. This position is a MID (11:00 PM/22:00 - 07:30 AM/07:30) position.


  • Provide support to Fleet Units for all matters dealing with HBSS ashore ePO management
  • Escalate issues/problems to support solution development
  • Manage, track, report, policy exceptions IAW Navy TTPs/SOPs
  • Report compliance status IAW Navy mandates, and management direction
  • Implement HBSS deployment, and policy strategies IAW approved Navy TTPs/SOPs
  • Manage ticketing system
  • Monitor/Analyze Rogue System Detection and respond/report IAW approved Navy TTPs/SOPs
  • Verify automated reports are being sent out as needed
  • Creation of server tasks, automated reports, etc.
  • Maintain a presence in the HBSS chat room
  • Review of HBSS threat events

Deliverables include:

  • Daily verification of Asset rollup -Respond to Fleet units if there were issues
  • Follow up on sites that have ongoing issues -Verify appropriate data is being rolled up
  • Verify automated reports are being sent out as needed. -Interface with other groups and the Fleet units in regards to asset information (compliance).
  • Field inbound communications with remote sites and assist or reach out to next level support
  • Make any changes passed down from Chain of Command
  • Manage Detected System exceptions
  • Manage approved DCM exceptions
  • Keep exceptions and ticketing database current
  • Creation of server tasks, automated reports, etc.
  • Maintain a presence in the HBSS chat room to monitor it
  • Requirements: 7 years IT experience
  • 2+ years previous helpdesk experience
  • Knowledge and experience in working with the McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention System
  • Organizational skills
