The Underwriting Manager is responsible for overseeing all of Retail Underwriting.This role directly manages people and is responsible for hiring new colleagues, conducting performance evaluations, recommending salary increases, planning and assigning work, training, and taking disciplinary action.

• Ability to supervise the work of others and provide training, direction, and corrective feedback.

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of underwriting mortgage experience required.
• 5+ years of management experience required.
• DE and SAR certification preferred
• Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
• High School or GED
• Bachelor's Degree

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
