Director of Clinical Services - Home Health
Desert View Home Health – Las Vegas, Nevada

Description

Reporting to the Home Health Agency Administrator, the Director of Clinical Services oversees clinical operations in this Medicare/Medicaid certified home health agency. Ensures quality care is delivered to patients in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations and company policies and procedures.

Responsible for quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.

Establishes goals and objectives, monitors employee performance, prepares written performance evaluations and develops corrective action plans.
Trains home health employees on laws, regulations and company policies and procedures that govern their job assignments to ensure compliance.
Analyzes and coordinates training related to specific job assignments, serves as primary lead for employee retention and recruitment, participates in new employee orientations and assists in the facilitation of employee retention programs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • REQUIREMENTS:
    RN, BSN preferred

    3+ years as a Director of Nursing/Director of Clinical Services in a home health setting.

    Strong familiarity with CMS and home health regulations and guidelines.
    Must meet regulatory criteria for title of “Director of Nursing or Director of Clinical Services” per state and federal guidelines.
    Ability to effectively ask for and present information and to respond to questions from case managers, physicians, referral sources, customers, caregivers, employees and the general public. Ability to read, analyze and accurately interpret regulatory requirements agency instructions, policies and procedures, email messages and regulatory communications.

    MUST be an energetic, high energy professional with superior customer service skills and the proven ability to drive overall facility growth and employee development.
