As an Account Manager, you are responsible for revenue targets, building pipeline and identifying new opportunities for GPU computing with a strong focus on the research community. What you'll be doing:
The Higher Education team is responsible for driving revenue within some of the most prestigious universities in the world through close partnerships in our partner ecosystem. You and your team, including solution architects, developer relations and applied engineering will provide sales and account leadership to build and execute strategies through all aspects of the sales cycle including demand creation, co-selling, forecasting, and training and education to the customers in this territory. The Account Manager will have/develop a deep understanding of how NVIDIA's industry leading GPU and accelerated computing technology can be applied to computing workloads to deliver exceptional performance. This role requires you to shift easily between working with CIO's and Head of Research to identifying and advising individual researchers in Physical Sciences, Applied Sciences, Computer Sciences and Medical Research. The solutions you represent range from High Performance Computing to Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning.
What we need to see:
Direct experience calling on Higher Education and Research customers
Direct experience working with Higher Education in a business development or sales role representing systems, software or other related HPC infrastructure or AI/ML or DL Solutions.
Experience building key accounts into strategic partnerships with sustaining revenue
Work closely with OEM's and channel partners to build and execute go-to-market plans to accelerate growth and adoption of NVIDIA technology.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing market and strategy
Self-motivated and willingness to own internal projects
Ability to travel as needed
Bachelor's degree required, MBA or other advanced technical degree a plus and 8+ years of relevant experience
Consistent record of exceeding revenue targets
