Opportunity to join division of national company specializing in Corrosion Mitigation of pipelines and otherinfrastructuresharing right of way corridors with high voltage transmission lines.




*** Analyze and resolve problems involving grounding, electromagnetic fields, electromagnetic interference, and various aspects of cathodic protection and anode beds from the ground up.


*** Develop alternating current and direct current interference mitigation solutions.


*** Calculate and analyze currents and electromagnetic fields generated by shared corridor energized conductors above and below ground for normal, fault, lightning and transient conditions.


*** Model conductors, simple and multi-component, such as: bare and coated pipeline components, enclosed cable systems, supporting structures, etc. buried in complex geologic formations and soil arrangements.




*** At least one year exposure to comfplex grounding design, EMF studies, electromagnetic compatibility and interference problems or lightning and voltage surge studies.
