Hematology Sales Consultant
Your tasks and responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this Hematology Sales Consultant role are to:
?The Hematology Sales Consultant targets, sells and promotes Bayer Hematology products to Hematologists and other specialized Oncology medical or healthcare providers;
The Hematology Sales Consultant manages his/her territory to maintain existing accounts, develop acquisition plans for new accounts and to achieve district and corporate objectives;
As a member of the Hematology sales team, the Sales Consultant works closely with his/her Regional Sales Manager, other district team members and other groups to achieve overall objectives;
Provide quality consultative information, coordinate and integrate outside alliances as well as otherinternal personnel to fit customer needs;
Territory includes Northern New Jersey, Metro New York City and Long Island;
There is 5 - 10% overnight travel a month in this territory;

?RequiredQualifications

- Master’s degree with 2+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales or specialty disease experience; or Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales or specialty disease experience; or Associates degree with 10+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales or specialty disease experience;
- Excellent negotiation skills required;
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required;
- Ability to travel as necessary or required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required;
PreferredQualifications
- Hematology selling experience strongly preferred;
- Consultative selling experiencepreferred;
- Scientific background and understanding of clinical trials preferred
