The Healthcare Sales Professional develops and implements marketing strategies to identify prospective sources. This is an outside sales position, requiring travel to various locations within a defined area, to initiate contact, develop and maintain relationships, and assess referral potential. 

The Healthcare Sales Professional is responsible for:

?            Developing and executing plans to grow referral business in key accounts to drive referrals to residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment facilities. 

?            Growing key referral areas as defined by management on an annual basis, while promoting Gateway Foundation?s services in a professional and creative manner. 

?            Meeting defined market revenue budget by servicing and growing existing business.

?            Working in a collaborative matter with all site personnel to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

?            Meeting a minimum call standard through individual contacts, group in-services, community outreach, and trade show attendance. 

?            Developing and executing strategic plans to grow business in the area surrounding Northwest Indiana and the Southern Illinois suburbs, through accurate business projections, goals, specific strategies and pertinent account information.

?            Preparing strategic plans for top active prospective accounts, while maintaining accurate records on prospective and active accounts and ensuring the timely completion and submission of itineraries and call reports.

?            Documenting each stage of the sales process in Salesforce.

?            Preparing regular summary reports on referral source updates and possible admission outcomes for review in planning and evaluating sales objectives and identifying potential barriers to achieving overall goals.

 

Requirements:

?            Bachelor?s degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field. 

?            Three to five (3-5) years of previous sales experience within the healthcare, behavioral health, medical sales or substance abuse industry, required.

?             Valid driver?s license, good driving record and proof of automobile insurance are required.
