The Healthy House Call Recruiter supports the overall success of the House Call program by sourcing and selecting nurse practitioners to provide in-home health assessments to eligible members throughout the United States. The recruiter will execute the national recruiting plan employing strategies identified and developed in the state specific action guide. The program runs during a 12-month calendar year with assessment completion goals each month. The recruiter is measured by their ability to achieve fulfillment goals according to a production schedule and achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) developed for each recruiting region. The Recruiter will work directly with the Provider Relations Manager on the network attributes and to understand existing coverage gaps in order to refine recruiting strategies, and to build fulfillment timelines. The Recruiter will remain engaged with the candidate throughout the onboarding process and continues to maintain relationships in order to add qualified leads to the pipeline through referrals.


Recruiting:

  • Create recruiting action plans to document the recruitment approach for each region as appropriate outlining the strategy, tools and techniques used to source, select and hire candidates for network coverage
  • Execute recruitment action plan by aggressively recruiting for nurse practitioners through various sources, including the EMSI database, internet, job boards, referrals, nursing schools, research, social medianetworking, direct mail and job fairs to develop a strong candidate pipeline
  • Assess applicant's soft skills and aptitude for in home member care
  • Educate potential candidates about the value of the HHC program to the member, describe the experience in the field and explain the performance guidelines created to ensure member satisfaction in all aspects of service
  • Ownership of the selection process to include resume/application review and pre-screening
  • Negotiation and closing responsibilities to include extending an offer to the candidate, negotiating compensation, and obtaining their firm acceptance of the offer
  • Fulfillment of the network coverage needs within the defined territory and forecasted capacity requirement
  • Serve as the primary contact person for the nurse practitioner throughout the hiring and credentialing process by troubleshooting, counseling, and problem solving when necessary
  • Assist Credentialing in provider engagement required for incomplete or missing documentation in the provider file for initial credentialing and re-credentialing requirement
  • Identify opportunities for implementing full-time and part-time salaried nurse practitioners

Networking:

  • Create contacts within the industry and potential state, regional partners to locate qualified candidates
  • Actively network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and the existing provider network
  • Identify and assist in building networks to find qualified passive candidates
  • Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates
  • Establish regular communication channels with the Provider Relations Managers and active nurse practitioners to establish rapport and source new candidate leads

Performance:

  • Produce progress reports to HHC Recruitment Supervisor and the HHC Vice President of Operations
  • Identify new recruiting strategies and networking opportunities to reduce the ramp timeline YOY
  • Achieve recruiting metrics and KPIs

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • 5-7 years' experience as a health care recruiter, preferably Locum Tenens
  • Experience using Geo tools including mapping
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fields
