Provides leadership role Fair Market Valuation (FMV) Service Line, primarily to physician practice group and healthcare systems
Utilizes technical and healthcare industry knowledge to identify and help resolve complex client issues related to FMV
Recognizes opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients.
Maintains contact with clients throughout the year in-order to broaden knowledge of the client and all facets of the client’s business.
Plans, schedules and staffs’ engagements using firm policies and processes.
Manages multiple projects and client engagement simultaneously.
Acts as liaison between partners, clients and staff.
Supervises staff and provides on-the-job training; reviews work papers and reports prepared by staff, including performance evaluations.
Serves as coach and mentor to our people, developing high performing teams, and promoting respect and inclusiveness in the workplace.
Plays key role in all aspects of proposals, including writing.
Communicates progress of engagements, problems and resolutions to client through written and oral correspondences.
Involvement in firm practice development efforts.
Participates in other firm administrative functions and duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5-7 years of work experience in healthcare consulting firm environment.
Knowledge of fair-market physician valuation (FMV) process essential. Familiar with regulatory and legal aspect of physician compensation, FMV and commercial reasonableness
Ability to interpret client employment agreements for compensation elements
Knowledgeable of national and regional benchmark survey sources and methodology (MGMA&AMGA etc.) This includes ability to apply supporting factors (positive or negative) deviations from the benchmark statistics
ABA credential a plus
Professional Membership in AAPCP or similar trade associations desirable
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Skilled in written comprehensive reports, memos and opinion letters
Ability to generate compensation models and impact projects
