Ensure that legal monitoring is organized at the national level and control compliance with all statutory, legal, contractual requirements related to Canada-wide, as well as the requirements of the company.
Act on HSE performance: facilitate change and continuous improvement in HSE.
Develop HSE knowledge and the skills of key operational staff. Deploy HSE training and development programs.
Develop HSE communication plans.
Ensure that social and medical partners are involved and communicate with them on HSE issues. Assist teams on site when necessary.
Act as an auditor for Alstom and contribute to the delivery of the Alstom group program and the Transport subsidiary.
Regularly visit manufacturing sites, project sites and offices to identify HSE risks and issues.
Monitor and analyze HSE performance, ensure the accuracy and proper delivery of standardized reports and deliver management reports.
REQUIRED PROFILE :
Engineering or business administration training
Diploma in occupational health and safety
10 to 15 years of experience in related functions
Strong knowledge of Canadian and local laws and regulations required
Team management experience an asset
CRSP certification an asset
Knowledge of ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 / OHSAS45001 mandatory
Experience in the fields of construction or transport (rail, aerospace or automotive)
