Job Description

We are:

Health & Public Services, and we help our healthcare clients transform their organizations to offer more effective, efficient and affordable healthcare. New technologies are profoundly changing how our healthcare clients operate, how they interact with patients and ecosystem partners and how they deliver products and services to the market. Cloud is the fuel that will enable this transformation. Accenture's Health Cloud Practice supports our clients across numerous dimensions – with an emphasis on driving change across all aspects of our client's business – organizational, technology and operational. Our team brings differentiated healthcare industry focus coupled with deep cloud platform skills spanning large cloud providers as well as emerging players.

You are:

The Health Cloud Strategist role is a Consulting/Advisory focused senior position that supports key transformational change enabled by Cloud. A Health Cloud Strategist will work closely with C-level clients, helping them pivot elements of their enterprise. The role focuses on organizational change and operating model – spanning people, process and technology, redefining how our clients think about the economics of cloud in a consumption/service-led organization and quantifying the business value of cloud as an accelerator for innovation.

The work:

Experience working on multi-year cloud transformation programs – large scale cloud migrations, startups where Public Cloud was the underlying platform strategy or in a visible role owning a major element of a cloud program within a large enterprise.

  • Assessment of an application and infrastructure estate
  • Planning/migration of substantial number of applications to a Public Cloud
  • Containerization/orchestration technologies – on-prem and Cloud Native
  • Implementing cloud IaaS/PaaS solutions and experience working with Cloud Native tools
  • Hybrid cloud experience and an understanding of the capability and service differences between Private and Public cloud models
  • Modern development and cloud architecture experience (CI/CD, microservices, container/orchestration platforms)
  • Experience implementing cloud native solutions on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
  • Cloud Security understanding – including the impact cloud has on customer/regulatory policy and their corresponding security controls
  • Certifications on a major cloud provider platform preferred
  • Direct experience working in the healthcare space – preferably commercial health (Payer, Provider, PBM)
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral

Here's what you need:

  • Minimum 5-7 years cloud experience combined with experience working on large cloud initiatives and/or direct experience working IT transformations where Public cloud was a key enabler.
  • Bachelor's degree in any major
  • Be ready to rack up those air miles with weekly travel to client sites

Valid Through: 2019-10-9
