Primary Responsibilities:

  • Direct accountability to achieve monthly and annual quotas for new membership
  • Following up on qualified leads and may be required to engage in lead generation and / or cold calling as necessary to generate leads
  • Determining desirability of all opportunities through review of all requests for proposals, comparing prospect needs and goals vs. company standards
  • Proactive management of the sales process, ensuring prospects are progressing thru the sales process
  • Explaining Real Appeal capabilities and / or procedures, as necessary, to prospects and customers
  • Proposing quotations and renewals to either the prospect or producer to ensure complete understanding of product, price, and services being offered
  • Developing, networking and utilization of  champions and industry contacts to grow the Real Appeal business
  • Development and maintenance of  key internal and matrix relationships
  • Identification of  new market trends and formulation of plans to capitalize on them that will lead to new revenue generation opportunities
  • Collaboration with peers on a regular basis to establish best practices, consistency where appropriate, and accomplishment of overall business goals and objectives
  • Providing market intelligence on product and service needs in the marketplace to management
  • Assisting in sales training activities and providing appropriate training to applicable producers as well as fellowassociates
  • Participation in community, business, and industry organizations as appropriate


To be considered for this position, applicants need to meet the qualifications listed in this posting. Required Qualifications:

  • Experience selling health care or related services to large employers
  • 7+ Years progressive health management, wellness or related experience
  • Proven consultative selling skills with demonstrated sales forecast achievement
  • Ability to gain consensus and effectively operate within a growing organization
  • Business experience / acumen with demonstrated planning, implementation, creativity, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a flexible, unstructured environment
  • High energy level, positive attitude, output driven and team oriented
  • Available to travel
  • Located within the North Central or North Eastern region of the U.S.
