Head Toddler Teacher

ANDRUS Early Learning Center (AELC) is seeking a Head Toddler Teacher with a passion for educating young children to join our dedicated team of early childhood professionals. AELC staff work with children from 6 weeks to 5 years old to meet the needs of the whole child. We focus on building positive relationships and a love for learning in our 12 month program.
With the support of an emergent curriculum, the diverse population we serve is supported in their early development by a creative and engaging team. A positive attitude, strong interpersonal and communication skills, appreciation for diversity, love of children and knowledge of early childhood are essential to the job.
The Toddler Head Teacher is responsible for creating a learning environment that fosters the physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth of the toddlers in our care. Strong relationships with families, guiding collaboration among staff, following our emergent curriculum and classroom and staff management are a part of the job.
A qualified applicant will have an upbeat and collaborative approach with a genuine enthusiasm for work with children and a working knowledge of child development.

6. Advanced degreepreferred. In Lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree A qualified applicant will possess a CDA with several years’ (at least 4) experience in an early childhood classroom. Proficiency in spoken and written English a must.
