Role and responsibility:

  • Responsible for managing a global team (based out of Zurich and Boston) in charge of
  • reviewing globally produced promotional and non-promotional items for use outside the US and supporting the development and integration of the Local Operating Companies (LOC) promotional review processes
  • rolling out a harmonized electronic approval system and process roadmap and ensuring successful implementation for all future digital enhancements
  • Accountable for the global CMLR process which defines the review of promotional and non-promotional materials outside the US
  • Responsible for the development, integration and implementation of directed and agreed future development and improvement of the global review process, standards and regional and LOC specific requirements to ensure material is produced in a Compelling, Compliant and Timely manner.
  • Responsible for defining the vision and strategic planning of the system and process roadmap to support all future digital enhancements
  • Liaise with the US Advertising and Promotion department to ensure consistency across the business regarding Globally produced material.
  • Develops tools, reports, templates, business processes, and communications to identify opportunities and creates mechanisms for driving future improvement in the promotional review process.
  • Provide expert knowledge and comprehensive operational excellence from concept to delivery of promotional and disease awareness campaigns.
  • Accountable for the implementation of the Digital Asset Management tools and future digital innovation to support CRM and individualized promotional & disease awareness campaigns

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field, preferred Master's Degree
  • Multiple years' experience in International review and approval process of pharmaceutical/biologics promotion
  • Ability to understand EFPIA and International (ex-US) regulations basics on advertising and promotion for prescription products
  • Ability to understand the basics in pharmaceutical promotion development and review
