WHY THIS JOB: This middle-market bank has grown assets, deposits and fee income double digits annually over the last several years. This is highly profitable bank with a peer leading balance sheet and no regulatory issues. Bank is investing in a large transformation to double assets in a 7-10 year period.
OPPORTUNITY: Design and deliver innovative solutions enterprise-wide across commercial banking, private banking, and capital markets.Lead conception and execution of platforms and products that drive customer retention and bottom-line impact.
Review existing banking products for potential improvements and alignment with the strategy. Identify market opportunities for new products considering cost/benefit analysis, client acquisition and experience, and fit within product suite. Present new product ideas to senior leadership and executive management. Manage the project plan, development process, and testing phase of the product.
Determine the build vs buy strategic plan tied to product development and product management. Partner with selected third-party vendors on negotiation, integration, and execution. Drive due diligence activities and post-closing/integration activities on acquisitions.
REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated results in product management, product development and driving business development in a bank. Specific area of focus in commercial products include but are not limited to deposit, cash management, foreign exchange (f/x), tradefinance, and lending or credit products.
REWARD: Up to $240,000 in base salary, plus short and long-term cash bonus.
