$225K — $275K + $75K bonus
As Head of the Marketing function, you will report to the CMO of Global Markets, working with the Global CMO, the Chairman and the Corporate Vice President of the North American region to develop the Company’s brand, reputation and business growth in North America. You will lead a talented senior field marketing and communications team, which serves as a strategic business partner to internal customer groups and business ur job will be to build on this solid platform and take the company’s brand and market positioning to new horizons in the future.
Supervise, inspire and mentor a team of 25 (and growing) field-based North American Marketing and Communications professionals, who manage functions ranging from sales enablement, market development and events to branding and communications.
Lead the transformation of the company’s brand, narrative and positioning in the market, repositioning it firmly as an industry leader in financial performance, brand, talent, customer satisfaction, technology prowess and ESG
Work closely in a matrix structure to create and execute a strategic marketing and communications plan for the region, balancing the company’s regional and global priorities. This includes an exhaustive events strategy comprising both in-house and third party events of all sizes and formats.
Foster relationships with the Company’s Industry Service Unit Leaders, Business Development Teams and other internal stakeholders, to drive revenue growth and strengthen customer relationships within it major client accounts
Build and manage external alliances/partnerships in joint initiatives to improve the company’sposition in the marketplace. The company has existing investments with a range of institutions (World Economic Forum, Evanta etc. ) and academia partners (Harvard, CMU, Cornell, MIT etc.) which this role will help drive activation and content/thought leadership strategies towards.
Oversee the Communications function and its leadership team, to further the company’s narrative in the market, build compelling stories that strengthen its positioning and manage crises to protect its reputation.
Drive innovative campaigns to enable the company’s growth and industry leadership objectives, including driving an executive relationship program to strengthen its relationship, engagement and brand awareness with a wide range of C-Level personas (CEO, Board directors, CIO, CMO, CFO etc.) of Fortune 1000 North America corporations.
Drive marketing effectiveness by fostering accountability through tools, processes, benchmarking and research, constantly helping the company to evolve its marketing strategy.
As a member of the leadership team, contribute to strategic business initiatives at a market and global level to drive the company’s future growth and brand agenda.
Skills and Attributes :
Strong experience in building both growth marketing programs and in brand campaigns that have shown outstanding results
Ability to mentor and manage large teams and work collaboratively in matrix structures. Yet to keep an entrepreneurial bent of mind in driving change, innovation and growth.
Strong organizational, stakeholder management and leadership skills. Should be able to inspire others to give their best every day.
Excellent communicator and speaker
Superlative positive attitude, with the ability to look at each challenge and objection as an opportunity.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field. Advanced business degree/MBA will be a plus
Proven track record of driving great marketing results in a high growth, complex and hyper competitive industry environment
Strong Experience with leading global brands
Strong experience in dealing with media and creative agencies
Portfolio of successful Global Campaigns
Years of experience required for position –15 + years experience in Marketing & Communications, with prior experience at the National level in the US, preferably in a B2B environment with a consulting, technology or related services firm
