We're looking for a Head of HR and People Operations to recruit, develop, and retain the remarkable collection of talent at Tubular. You'll be responsible for championing Tubular's culture and values, partnering with our leaders to help them build and develop their organizations, and making sure all people-related decisions are based on data. You'll also be responsible for ensuring that Tubular's comp/benefits are competitive and compliance procedures are up-to-date. From recruiting world-class talent to coaching Tubular's leaders on how to more effectively lead their teams on a daily basis, our ideal candidate is a seasoned HR executive with amazing communication skills and a penchant for getting stuff done. This role reports directly to our Founder & CEO, and oversees our Recruiting, HR, and Office Management functions.


    • Provide thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution
    • Collaborate with Tubular's Sr. leadership team to create a comprehensive people plan for the company's long-term success
    • Launch a robust and self-sufficient internal recruiting effort to attract and retain world-class talent to Tubular
    • Assess employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement a solutions framework
    • Oversee Tubular's quarterly OKR and annual review processes, including 360 degree reviews for Sr. leadership team members 
    • Take the lead on internal communications to ensure Tubular's employees always have the information they need to excel in their jobs
    • Solve employee problems and get to the root cause of any issue, no matter how complex, and design and quickly implement cross-functional solutions
    • Lead the charge on company comp/benefits philosophy, plan design, overall health/wellness programs
    • Own people-related compliance related to all Federal and State regulations and advise on compliance testing and audit procedures
    • Provide insightful data to guide all of Tubular's people-related discussions and decisions

Required Experience & Knowledge:

    • BA/BS degree from a top academic institution
    • 5+ years in an HR leadership role in a start-up or fast-paced environment
    • Strategic thinker with extensive experience solving complex organizational problems through people-related solutions
    • Excel at influencing people through strong relationships, domain expertise, and the use of data
    • Experience designing, developing, and implementing comp/benefits policies and programs
    • Demonstrated expertise in career planning, learning and development, coaching, performance management, and recognition programs
    • Knowledge of the global benefits marketplace including differences between providers, competitive benchmarking, and market trends
    • Excel at analyzing data, understanding trends, and developing recommendations into action plans
    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills that can be applied at all levels of the organization
    • Excellent project management skills and ability to launch and drive programs independently
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
