About the role:

  • Drive all facets of global employee benefits, including the strategic planning, design, implementation, regulatory compliance, communication, and administration of global programs for a multigenerational, multigeographical and diverse workforce
  • Develop and mentor a global team of approximately 5 Benefits Specialists to assume increased levels of responsibilty and execution, including thorough understanding of company vision and priorities as well as personal ownership expectations and accountability
  • Create a culture of "pride in exceptional accuracy" by performing root cause analysis of errors to ensure procedural corrections
  • Manage and negotiate domestic and international vendor relationships including insurance brokerage and third party administrators, and monitor their performance
  • Lead individual country benchmarking assessments to determine adjustments, adds and changes as needed to remain competitive and progressive while optimizing benefit value and delivery
  • Maintain knowledge of government regulations, program trends, and best practices among benchmark companies in the software and cybersecurity industry
  • Stay abreast of ongoing global legislation influencing benefits offerings and implications, and remain partnered closely with local HR Partners and other back office functions to ensure benefit programs are compliant with all laws, regulations and policies
  • Oversee US annual open enrollment process, NQDC plan enrollment process, and 401(K)
  • Partner with accounting, legal and tax to ensure accurate financial reporting, and compliance with financial laws and regulations
  • Remain in sync with VP, Total Rewards on items requiring Compensation Committee and Board review and approval
  • Educate and continuously increase McAfee employees' understanding of benefit offerings at an altitude which can be aborbed and understood across multiple cultures and geographies
  • Support M&A due diligence efforts as needed
  • Minimal domestic and international travel may be required

  • Your background includes 10+ years of benefits experience including global scope and M&A due diligence

  • You have expertise in design, development, implementation and administration of all types of health, welfare and retirement programs, preferably at a software company of comparable quality, scale and complexity
  • You play to win or don't play - focusing on high ROI/high impact offerings and cutting losses in offerings and benefits area that are not right for McAfee
  • You are an intristically motivated self-starter with a strategic mindset who will "own" any issues and persever to find solutions
  • You thrive on producing superior results when responsible for multiple and occasionally competing priorities
  • You are energized by an ever changing environment, with the ability to pivot and adjust with speed and agility
  • You are fanatical about meeting deadlines within budget
