We’re hiring a Head of Diversity Equity & Inclusion Officer who will partner with Executive leadership to execute on our diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies. The Head of Diversity Equity & inclusion will be responsible for the strategy, planning, execution, and assessment of our DEI programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build DEI plans aligned with and in support of our business plans; develop goals and strategies; implement and scale initiatives across team.
- Audit existing programs from a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) lens and implement solutions.
- Serve as a resource for all employees through education and collaboration on DEI initiatives across the company.
- Analyze results, measure outcomes and develop initiatives while bringing the rest of the stakeholders on the journey.
- Partner with Executive leadership to define how a greater focus on excellence in serving diverse communities can lead to greater growth and business performance.
- Influence and partner with business units and functional areas across the organization to develop and ingrain a culture that recognizes how greater sensitivity to underrepresented and diverse communities can improve and advance user, client, provider and employee experience.
- Design and deploy a long-term, strategy and framework to integrate DEI into every aspect of Verily’s operations and culture, understanding macro-trends, research, analysis and benchmarks.
- Lead organizational change by promoting the company’s commitment to culturally and racially inclusive business processes and programs through talent management, member-focused initiatives, supplier diversity, and community relations efforts.
- Build key partnerships with local, and regional organizations to expand Verily’s ability to support and engage diverse communities.
- Provide subject matter expertise, strategic planning, thought leadership, coaching and education to leaders to drive key business outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in DEI strategy, program development, change management, and execution.
- Experience in identifying issues in complex processes and defining solutions with a deeply analytical and data-driven approach.
- Design and deploy a long-term strategy and framework to integrate DEI into every aspect of Verily’s operations and culture, understanding macro-trends, research, analysis and benchmarks.
- Lead organizational change by promoting the company’s commitment to culturally and racially inclusive business processes and programs through talent management, member-focused initiatives, supplier diversity, and community relations efforts.
- Build key partnerships with local, and regional organizations to expand Verily’s ability to support and engage diverse communities.
- Provide subject matter expertise, strategic planning, thought leadership, coaching and education to leaders to drive key business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of DEI programs experience.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience in Human Resources, Equity, Inclusion and Diversity or related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience working in Diversity in either a leadership capacity or as a core part of a role with demonstrated subject matter expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to establish strong working relationships across a matrixed organization.
