Job Title: Private Credit & Infrastructure ("PCI") - Managing Director - Head of Digital Infrastructure and Appraisable Assets Lending

Overview

Private Credit & Infrastructure business is Deutsche Bank's US-based balance sheet lending platform. DB PCI provides financing to bank clients including corporates, projects and alternative investment managers using bank capital. DB PCI has a wide mandate to underwrite loan facilities including bridge, term and construction loans, as well as letters of credit, with a focus on middle market direct lending, digital and conventional infrastructure, venture debt and fund finance with over $20Bn in balances outstanding. It is an integral part of Global Credit Financing & Solutions and the Global Credit Trading platform within Global Markets. Within PCI the Digital Infrastructure and Appraisable Assets business deploys DB balance sheet into global, multi-currency financings and provides flexible and client-centric solutions, with ability to provide debt packages to operating entities as well as new construction and retrofit green and brown field projects across data centers, fiber, towers and other assets.

What You'll Do
  • Lead client engagement alongside partners across the DB franchise to drive originations; including banking sponsor coverage and industry teams, as well as global markets salesforce and structuring
  • Underwrite credit opportunities, with deep focus on fundamental credit diligence and market drivers
  • Manage a team of investment professionals and partner with teams across the bank
  • Deal execution, spanning sponsor and management team engagement, negotiation, and structuring
  • Lead transaction approvals with investment committee and credit risk management
  • Portfolio risk management and company performance oversight


Skills You'll Need
  • Extensive experience in digital infrastructure financing with specialist expertise in data centers
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading junior personnel in underwriting and structuring transactions
  • Excellent communication and client facing skills
  • Superior analytical aptitude and creative problem-solving abilities
  • 10+ years in credit and/or infrastructure investing for an established platform

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $500,000 to $825,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
