Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in quota carrying software sales and strategic account management at enterprise B2B software companies, engaging with accounts, and selling cloud products.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry.
  • Experience managing teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in SEC, FINRA, CFTC, ISO 27001, Financial Services, Banking, Compliance, Infrastructure, Modernization, Phishing and Ransomware, and financial auditing.
  • Experience working with web/internet related technologies, architecture across SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and cloud productivity suites.
  • Experience establishing/expanding relationships with Financial Services clients and list of network contacts.
  • Knowledge of SEC, FINRA, and CFTC, legal implications around operating online/Cloud-based financial services, Big Data, Machine Learning and Security as it relates to FinServ products, intelligent risk management, legacy financial infrastructure and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of solution architecture within web and mobile environments.

As Head of Customer Engineering for Financial Services, you will serve as an executive leading a team to understand and assess customer requirements, prepare and present demonstrations of Google's Cloud technologies, and address and overcome technical objections. You'll lead efforts to drive solution innovation, working across the organization to identify the right assets and tools to drive customer adoption. Additionally, you'll leverage the Google Cloud Platform to bring legacy financial systems into the Cloud, allowing better insights into customer needs and growth opportunities within financial markets.

In this role, you'll develop new relationships with business unit leaders to more deeply understand their challenges, demonstrating deep industry understanding and communicating the business value of "One Google". You will wield the innovative power of our products and solutions to make organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile.

  • Meet with customers and participate in key agreements and accounts. Prepare and deliver product messaging to highlight the Google Cloud value proposition specific to the vertical and/or customer.
  • Take responsibility for technical aspects of solutions. Make solutions-based recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to implement a complete solution tailored to the account or industry.
  • Lead strategy in generating industry-specific growth opportunities, working cross-functionally to maximize impact and enable opportunities. Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, working with cross-functional teams and serving as the primary customer Vertical contact for all adoption-related activities.
  • Contribute ideas mutually beneficial to our clients and Google.
  • Hire, coach, and drive a high performance team to deliver against assigned goals while prioritizing an excellent customer experience to customers and prospects.
