A Day in the Life of the Head of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis :

Ocean Spray is undergoing a technology enabled transformation that requires a talented finance leader that can partner with Tech and bring to life a modern finance organization. This transformation will include best of breed technology solutions, visualization, and reporting tools combined with business process improvements. This role will also be responsible for leading the corporate FP&A function and providing critical insight to the executive leadership team in delivering results against our annual and long-range plans.

  • Own finance transformation in partnership with IT Tech and Accounting
  • Cultivate innovation by creating new and better ways for the organization to be successful
  • Lead corporate financial and management reporting
  • Act as a valued business partner providing relevant and timely performance management information and business insights
  • Provide financial leadership in the IBP forecasting process
  • Own the annual budgeting process
  • Own long-range financial planning
  • Build an effective team

What We Are Looking For:

  • 10+ years’ experience in Finance/ Accounting function
  • 1-3 years’ experience at the mid-to-senior executive level
  • 3-5 years’ Public Accounting experience strongly preferred
  • MBA/ CPA or equivalent; CPA strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems with a mindset in favor of process improvement and efficiency
  • Expert knowledge of finance, accounting, forecasting, budgeting, and cost control principles
  • Highly analytical approach, constantly seeks to understand the drivers for results
  • Demonstrated strong financial, analytical, creative and problem-solving skills, as well as demonstrated abilities to be strategic and tactical
  • Holds self and others accountable; drives for results
  • Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
  • Able to build effective teams with the right mix of talent and capabilities
  • Persuades by using compelling arguments to gain the support and commitment of others
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
