Atlassian is looking for a communications leader and self-starter to nurture and craft the stories we share with the world about our company, our culture and practices, and our teams. As Head of Corporate Communications, you will grow and lead a team of experienced PR professionals and PR agencies. You will be responsible for guiding public relations for all non-product communications and will advise on select customer and employee communications. Additionally, you will oversee and handle annual PR plans with measurable goals and deliverables for your team. You will drive media relations with the business press and collaborate closely with other teams across the company, including Product PR, Brand, Editorial, People, Investor Relations, and Marketing, to refine and promote our corporate narratives. Along the way you will find hooks that make Atlassian a “reference company” so that when journalists are writing stories on a relevant topic, they actively seek Atlassian comment. You will lead the creation of media materials including press releases, fact sheets, contributed articles, and speaking abstracts. You will also be a key member of the team crafting keynote content for our annual global customer summits.
