Head of Business Development and Sales (Ecommerce)
We are seeking a strategic Head BizDev/Sales for an exciting 5-year old global Startup based in Silicon Valley. This is the first executive hire in the Silicon Valley office and the position may grow into the CEO role.
· The startup is self-funded.
· Currently 30 employees (mostly Russia), with its worldwide HQ to be built/setup in the Silicon Valley.
· Computer Vision and Machine Learning/AI technology
· The focus is on psychological profiling of human beings
· A working product (v1) is already available
· The product will be offered as API/Application for eCommerce companies (in automotive, fashion, furniture and other subjective categories)
· The profiling API provides additional ability to classify visitors and provide better product suggestions
· Business Development & Sales
· Partnerships and Channel Sales Development
· Obtain initial eCommerce (API) contracts (pilots) from major ecommerce / mobile commerce retailers
· Pricing strategy development
· Building and scaling the sales organization
· The candidate is to drive the company product marketing strategy based on customer feedback and market acceptance of the technology
· The global management-team will be setup in the Silicon Valley
· Position reports to the Founder.
· Experience with Business-Development/Sales to top-50 eCommerce retailers
· Existing relationships with Retailers s.o.
· Experience selling APIs / deep technology to retailers
· A strategic thinker with strong leadership qualities
· Previous startup founding team experience
· Previous experience in software product development
· Base, Incentive pay, and Equity commensurate with experience
