Roles and responsibilities include digital, analog, and power circuit design, PCB design, specification margin analysis, design verification, design for reliability, testability, and manufacturability, participation in industry seminars and ongoing skills based training, participation in design reviews, failure analysis, writing specifications, collaboration with semiconductor suppliers, resolving component obsolescence issues, working on customer issues with existing instrumentation.


We work closely with engineers in various disciplines including Firmware, Software, QA, Thermal Design, Mechanical Design. and Manufacturing. Hardware designers must be able to work as part of these cross functional teams and be able to navigate the challenges that occur in designing complex products.

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required

Qualified Applicants will have:


  • Minimum BSEE or MSEE (preferred) in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • 0-3 year of experience (relevant coop experience is suggested)
  • Course work focused on design of analog, digital, and power circuitry, with solid understanding of underlying theory and principles.
  • Knowledge of Thermal & Mechanical fundamentals
  • PCB layout experience
  • Proficiency with circuit simulation tools (e.g. Pspice)
  • Understanding of Transmission line application and High Speed Design techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with common lab bench top equipment (scopes, DMMs, function generators, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Self-starter. Ability to take the lead in managing one's career
