We are looking for a Group Business Program Manager (Group BPM) to join LinkedIn’s new Sales Productivity Operations team and help in the design and configuration of our internal sales technology. Role Overview The Group BPM will lead a team of Business Program Managers (BMPs) to develop our long-term sales technology strategy for LinkedIn Global Sales Organization. This team will represent the voice of the business and our sales technology users as they partner with Engineering to build simple, rep-centric solutions that improve LinkedIn’s sales productivity. The BPM team is focused on some of the most important technology for our global sales organization. You will be tasked with leading a team of BPMs to reimagine and transform products and associated processes that are used daily by more than 3000 reps and support roles to drive sales productivity. As the leader of the BPM team, you will need to provide thought leadership, strategic direction and operational support to allow your team to conduct user research; generate product requirements; determine specifications, production timetables, and develop time-integrated plans for product introduction. You will work with cross-functional and Engineering teams to bring features live. You will also partner with the Sales Productivity Operations Strategic Programs team to develop launch strategies and measure impact. This position is based in the Bay Area (Sunnyvale or San Francisco) depending on what the candidate approved for hire chooses Key Responsibilities Leads a high performing team of talented BPMsSets strategic direction and operational processes to ensure BPMs function effectivelyServe as a thought partner for and trusted advisor to leadershipProvides coaching / development opportunities and shares domain expertise with BPMsPartners with User Experience Research (UER) to determine sales technology users' needs and desiresRecommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas.Works cross-functionally and with the Engineering teams to bring features liveDefine objectives and strategy for stakeholder communicationsDrives full adoption by working with Strategic Programs team to develop tool launch strategies.Assesses usage data by calling on users with Strategic Programs team / UER Basic Requirements 6+ years of project management/coordination or relative consulting experience2+ years of sales technology and/or sales operations experience2+ years of people management experienceUndergraduate degree4+ years people management experience Preferred Qualifications 4+ years of product management experience and/or deploying software initiatives4+ years experience using or configuring CRMOutstanding leadership, facilitation and problem-solving skills.
