Our client, Marshall & Sterling (www.marshallsterling.com), a leading commercial risk management brokerage firm, is looking to hire a Group Benefits Sales Executive (B2B Outside Sales Representative), to expand their outside B2B sales team. The Group Benefits Sales Executive (B2B Outside Sales Representative) will sell in a B2B consultative sales environment to business owners and HR Directors and CFOs of medium-to-large enterprises. This Group Benefits Sales Executive (B2B Outside Sales Representative) candidate will also work with a large network of providers to deliver proposals to their clientele, ensuring it meets their business, human resources, and risk management needs. Exceptional training and support, a competitive starting base salary up to $60K (negotiable), uncapped commissions, and a generous employee benefits program are provided.  A successful Group Benefits Sales Executive (B2B Outside Sales Representative) at Marshall & Sterling will become a major contributor in this growing company and can realistically earn $300K or more, once their clientele is well established, plus earn an ownership interest in this employee-owned firm.    

Responsibilities of Group Benefits Sales Executive (B2B Outside Sales Representative):

• Successfully be able to sell in a stable, recession-resistant industry.

• Develop long-term relationships with clients, and maintain the long-term relationships for continued business (and to earn residual commissions).

• Analyze and offer solutions to the client’s business, human resources, and risk management needs.

• Sell human resources and risk management solutions from a broad portfolio of high quality providers (and we have excellent relationships with those providers).

• Submit risks and exposures to the provided network of Providers, secure customized Group Benefits insurance contract in return.

• Provide ongoing support for the client throughout the contractyear.

Requirements of Group Benefits Sales Executive (B2B Outside Sales Representative):

• Full-time role.

• 2-8years business-to-business (B2B) salesexperience - selling to HR Directors and CFOs is a big plus and Group Benefits insurance salesexperience and knowledge would also be a big plus.

• Existing network of business contacts in the greater Albany area with easy access to the Scotia, NY office. 

• Ability and desire to build a business clientele, and retain your customers year after year.

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
