PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Responsible for directing the operations, implementing the policies and programs, and ensuring the growth and profitability of the GrainLLC.
SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP
Supervises, leads, and develops the employees of the Grain Locations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Directs the operations, implementing grain marketing programs, communications, budgets and ensuring the growth and profitability of the Grain LLC
Ensures the maximum utilization efficiency of storage and grain handling equipment
Takes ownership for both the quantity and quality of all grain under company ownership
Maintains proper grain dealer, grain warehouse, and regulatory requirements
Develops and implements grain strategic plans, operating and fixed budgets
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Communicates professionally and provides optimal customer service
Utilizes technology and Microsoft offices programs and proprietary software to enhance business processes
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply
Performs all other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a Bachelor’s degree in Ag Economics, Ag Marketing or Agri-Business or similar field and 6 or more years of experience in operations, marketing and/or commodity trading, or a combination of equivalent education & experience to demonstrate knowledge of grain operations leadership
Demonstrated core competencies including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight when necessary
