GPU Compute/Graphics Architect
The role:
We are looking for engineers who are motivated to challenge the status quo. If you are excited to work with some of the brightest minds in the world while developing and modeling leading algorithms, and the hardware and software required for advancing our visual rendering systems, then AMD may be for you.
You will be part of a fast-paced team working on the modularization of sophisticated graphic and compute pipelines, producer/consumer graphs involved in scheduling advanced gaming workloads. As part of a team of engineers of varied disciplines who are responsible for architecture, modeling, software, kernel development, micro-architecture, performance projection, power performance analysis delivering GPU architectures for various products.
Your work will include command and control systems. GPU ISA (instruction set architecture), compiler development and kernel optimization. You will be responsible for writing architectural specification for new features and instructions. You will be also responsible for performance simulation and projection. You will be working with software, architecture, and design leads to understand all various scenarios of the product parameters, such as performance, die area, power and schedule. You will be the key point of contact on features from development, performance all the way to RTL debug.
