Job Description:


Position is directly responsible for the working relationship between the business and DCMA and DCAA. The position also has the following responsibilities:

  • Manages the government compliance function
  • Maintains compliant status of all business systems
  • Coordinates internal financial and accounting compliance efforts such as audits from Corporate Internal Audit
  • Prepares and submits Forward Pricing Rates Proposals and negotiates
  • Forward Pricing Rates Agreements with DCMA
  • Negotiates final rates with DCMA
  • Local expert on all matters related to U.S. Government Accounting
  • Manages a team of compliance experts and is responsible for their professional development

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience with a BS Degree (Accounting Preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience with a Masters Degree (Accounting or MBA preferred)
  • Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
  • Technical knowledge of U.S. Government Contract Accounting
  • U.S. Government liaison and negotiating experience
  • Public Accounting, Internal Audit and/or DCAA Experience Preferred
  • CPA is preferred.
