Location Preferred locations NYC Atlanta Chicago Overall Hybrid Cloud Run Grade Portfolio Manager Location New York New Jersey Chicago Atlanta Position Enterprise Hybrid Cloud Apps Architect Grade Portfolio Manager Location New York New Jersey Chicago Atlanta About the Role position This position focuses on defining a modular architecture that can respond to current and future business requirements business systems and business processes evolving in the cloud This position will create and drive strategy and content of multiple cloud service launches and integration models This individual will influence and lead cross functional teams to complete projects and major initiatives Responsibilities Lead efforts to define cloud future state architectures and roadmaps including architecture standards guidelines and industry best practices to set the technology direction vision and strategy to enable Cloud technology adoption and the resultant migration Demonstrate a leadership role in ensuring that new and existing systems are aligned to architectural guidelines Assist infrastructure operations team in selecting cloud service providers Assess application readiness for cloud technology adoption Evaluate and Recommend the SaaS PaaS IaaS cloud models that best fit business needs Collaborate with enterprise architects in other architectural areas to ensure comprehensive and cohesive working solutions are developed across disciplines o Economic and technical value proposition for cloud o Distinctions and tradeoffs among IaaS PaaS SaaS private hybrid public cloud o Distinctions and tradeoffs among market leading cloud providers orchestration platforms SDN and hypervisor solutions o Strategies and best practices for implementing resilient scalable enterprise class solutions in cloud infrastructures Qualifications Demonstrable Experience architecting hybrid cloud platforms for medium to large scale applications 15 years overall IT system architecture design development deployment experience Specific experience with medium large scale cloud adoption including application readiness assessment organizational change and integration into a Service Management framework Deep technical knowledge of infrastructure components such as Network Storage and midrange Compute Hands on Public cloud architecture experience with distributed compute data and storage technologies Technical Expertise o Adept with enterprise architecture concepts and terminology EAI SOA ESB REST APIs and microservices o Relevant experience in large scale data center architecture design middleware architecture application deployment methods automation testing compliance and auditing o Service oriented architecture for cloud based services including service provisioning product catalog integration and billing systems integration Excellent leadership skills with the ability to generate stakeholder buy in and lead through influence at a senior management level
