Set direction for Personify's Product Development teams across multiple products; Responsible for creating strategic direction for Personify Products through the value of all of our Personify360, Community, a2z, and Wild Apricot products and tools; Also be responsible for product delivery goals and broad sales; Provide a well-rounded technical management background with excellent strategic and leaderships kills , and a good working understanding and proven track record in client interactions; Provide strategy, leadership and mentoring skills and will understand the importance of balancing the product development, sales and delivery aspects of managing an engineering practice; Direct and control the activities of the Engineering professionals globally with overall responsibility for the direction of those assigned areas across all Personify products; Lead remote teams in Indi a, Canada and Russia ; Create effective & strategic direction and roadmap creation for products and customers with our Personify360 suite of solutions, and additional acquired products (a2z, Wild Apricot) systems and tools ; Develop technical strategies and roadmaps across different product lines including Personify360 , a2z, Wild Apricot to build mindshare and relationships with partners, customers, and other departments; Integrate development teams, tools, processes across different products offered by Personify (Personify360, a2z, Wild Apricot); Develop technical strategies and roadmaps across different product lines including Personify360, a2z, Wild Apricot to build mindshare and relationships with partners, customers, and other departments; Collaborate with finance and other departments to build and finalize budget for R&D across products; Lead R&D leaders reporting to Global VP to provide and identify accurate estimates for technical solutions; Work collaboratively with other functional leaders to drive the top line activities for both within and outside of the Engineering group; Primary contact for off-shore partners and teams to include monitoring staffing need, training, ensuring quality delivery, budget planning, work approval and overall strategic planning for the offshore teams; Take overall responsibility for people, planning, budgets and objectives for the Engineering group; Participate with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives for area of responsibility and encourage business relationships with partners and other practices; Responsible for operation of activities of major significance to the organization. Requires functional expertise and broad company knowledge; Lead the Research and Development activities of the products to meet the budget; Create an environment that encourages innovation and collaboration across different teams; Sets growth expectations and development plans for direct reports that leverages their individual skills and capabilities; Identify key contributors and formulates succession planning that will provide required resources for the long- term growth of the organization; Contribute to the Personify Research and Development leadership team through participation in initiatives, process improvement , and encouraging new product and service offerings and encourage creation of reusable Intellectual Property and shares this with other departments.
The position requires minimum of a master's degree in Information Systems or equivalent and 2 years' experience in the job or performing similar job duties. The employer will accept 2 years' relevant experience obtained prior to Master's Degree.
