Purpose of Role 

  • Responsible for business engagement, definition of the roadmap, technical solution design, solution adoption & ROI Delivery of effective and efficient Social Media Management Solutions
  • Accelerates growth through provision of technological solutions that derive insights from social data to enable actions and deliver business value by increasing our social intelligence
  • Supports Social Media community mgmt. & personalization by putting in place technology & governance
  • Ensures best in class Social Media Management technology stack for MDLZ is created and maintained
  • Enables standardization, simplification & governance of end to end processes by building sponsorship to invest in common critical technology infrastructure, empowering brands at market level


Main Responsibilities 

  • Engages and Partners with Marketers across the local, regional or global organization to bring technology thought leadership to the Marketing strategies and identify priority initiatives that will accelerate growth through Social Media Solutions in an ever increasing digital world where 30+% of media spend is digital
  • Influences business stakeholders in Marketing on process and technology decisions to simplify processes, improve marketer efficiency & effectiveness and drive growth
  • Drives and develops strategic solution roadmap for Social Media Solutions, taking emerging needs and innovation into account so a long range proposition can be worked out and adopted across all our channels as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, WeChat, Weibo,Vk.com, OK.ru, TenCent, etc
  • Empower markets and global needs to unlock the potential of social media management and become a consumer obsesses organization by defining and guiding the implementation of a technology environment, leveraging APIs and solutions such as Facebook Business Mgr, Sysomos, Brandle, Crimson Hexagon etc.
  • Support transformation to a big-data lead marketing capability, unlocking potential of social data analysis to deliver actionable insights both operationally (e.g. consumer care) or strategically (e.g. taste evolution)
  • Support protection of both MDLZ and our brands by proactively detecting corporate and brand threats
  • Coordinates with Media solutions to optimize seamless capability integration
  • Oversees the running of the current and future key platforms and continually evolves KPIs to ensure health and value delivery of supported platforms.
  • Collaborates with ITS architects to liaise closely with the technical teams of our tool suppliers to understand upcoming roadmap changes, assess the impact and influence their roadmap
  • Self-educates by gathering information and learnings from peer companies, conferences and events; turn that knowledge back into new capabilities that propel MDLZ
  • Is ready to firefight & provide leadership on resolving systems or process issues that affect our business

Qualifications
Qualifications

  1. Has 10 years experience in Consumer Marketing; MBA or advanced degrees in computer science (with a minor in marketing) or marketing (with a minor in computer science)
  2. Brings strong working knowledge of digital and social media marketing best practices
  3. Dialogues at business outcome and process level with senior stakeholders
  4. Has experience in launching a new internal service or capability at a major organization
  5. Is used to working on globally distributed and virtual teams in CPG or FMCG industry
  6. Has demonstrated intellectual curiosity with passion for optimizing & simplifying (marketing) processes"
