The Global Space Data Management Program Lead manages the client’s Space Data Management (SDM) Program, and associated portfolioreporting within the framework of the client’s real estate programs and strategy. He/she will interact with the client’s internal CRE team and apply expertise in CAFM administration, data governance, data analytics and reporting to identify portfolio metric improvement opportunities. The Global SDM Program Lead will manage a team of regional Space Data Managers and CAFM Administrators across global time zones.  This position reports to the Account Manager and is located on site with our financial service client in New York, NY.

Occupancy Planning at JLL features over 400 professionals engaged in creating space solutions, optimizing space utilization, and achieving cost savings for 90+ clients and 575 million SF of real estate worldwide.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the results and performance of the space data management team and service delivery on the account, including KPI results
  • Accountable for space data integrity and accuracy within a CAFM database, and support of dashboards and analytics, by driving use of drawing and data standards, and review and remediation of data errors
  • Acts as single point of contact on space data management and CAFM issues for the client’s CRE management team, JLL account management, and a regional team of Space Data Managers
  • Manages relationship with JLL Technology Solutions team to enhance performance, manage application issues and ensure maximum “up time” of the CAFM System
  • Oversees deployment of CAFM system modules, configuration of space data rules and standards, and any CAFM related data integrations with client or JLL systems
  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert for all proposed process related changes concerning Space Data Management and the CAFM system
  • Participates in the client’s data governance program to define, categorize, measure, and audit client space data
  • Demonstrates understanding of the client’s regional portfolio composition, including location and interaction of organizations, site type/use (call center, agent office, administration), and corresponding space metrics (vacancy, density, etc.)
  • Manages reporting on the demand planning program to compare forecasted demand for space against supply of space over one to three years
  • Reports to client CRE team on regional occupancy, vacancy and utilization metrics
  • Ensures regional consistency in delivery of JLL services by providing training, following standard operations manual, and incorporating evolving best practices into the account team’s work product
  • Accountable for the annual account budget, monthly invoice tracking and financialreporting for JLL practice management while tracking to assigned financial targets
  • Accountable for the health of the client engagement including business plans, succession plans, employee skill development, KPI’s and SLA’s

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 5 to 7 years work experience in CAFM/IWMS administration, occupancy or space planning in a corporate environment; or move/project management
  • Preferred 2 or more years supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated extensive knowledge of office space categorization principles (BOMA, OSCRE, etc.), CAFM procedures and AutoCAD
  • Advanced proficiency in CAFM/IWMSdatabase management and design (i.e. FMS, Manhattan, Tririga, Archibus, or similar)
  • Demonstrated abilities in analytics, data visualization, and trend reporting using PowerPivot, Tableau, etc.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) with the capability to master client specific programs
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to tactfully deliver difficult messages, and tailor information to the audience; presents equally well to executives, large and small groups

    Minimum Required Education

    Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Architecture, Real Estate, Construction or a related field
