More than 7 million small business advertisers use Facebook every month to connect with their customers. This role plays a key part leading this movement on our Small Business Group Marketing team. We are looking for an experienced marketing leader to drive global marketing strategy to support our multi-billion-dollar small business sales (outsourced) business. You will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy to grow our business for programs in this segment and contributing to the overall success of the global GBM and respective SBG teams. The candidate will have the ability to work across multiple marketing disciplines and cross-functional teams and will possess a strong understanding of SMB audience to bring audience specific messages to market at scale. The ideal candidate will be an analytical, strategic, creative, and operationally-savvy marketer who can move fast and possesses a demonstrated ability to translate business objectives & customer insights into successful marketing strategies by leading large teams & influencing stakeholders.


This is a full-time position and located in our MPK/Austin office.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Orchestrate the global marketing strategy for SBG Outsourced business, across 4 regions (North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific and Europe, Middle East, and Africa)
  • Partner with the Small Business Sales leadership on aligning marketing strategies with business & marketing plans
  • Lead and scale a high-performance marketing team
  • Identify near term priorities in conjunction with the broader SBG team
  • Act as an extension of the SBG team and use the practitioner insight to support the growth of SBG programs with the relevant marketing messages
  • Identify scaled marketing methods to drive adoption of Facebook's marketing solutions
  • Build strong relationships across the business marketing and cross-functional teams
  • Deliver concise and powerful analysis of marketing impact
  • Lead and manage marketing content strategy and its execution in collaterals -including web page copy, sales collaterals, FB ad campaigns content, email content and more - as needed
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product Marketing teams to identify, prioritize and produce consistent positioning and messaging
  • Develop creative for performance marketing campaigns on short timelines

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree
  • 8+ years experience of content/digital marketing, brand management, marketing communications, content strategy or similar field
  • Knowledge of online advertising industry and/or small & medium businesses
  • Experience managing and/or mentoring a team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Direct first-hand experience with managing Facebook campaigns or using other paid online media
  • Obsessed with keeping things simple and to the point. Translating complex concepts into easy-to-understand materials is key
  • A passion and strong understanding of and experience with SMB marketing and the SMB audience
  • Experience and willingness to develop practitioner marketing content by hand and program manage the creative process
  • Demonstrated marketing results across marketing objectives
  • Ability to handle the pace by removing ambiguity and prioritizing effectively
  • Proven track record of a mentor, with strong cross-functional relationship and leadership skills
