JDA Software is currently seeking a Global Services Director to join our Retail Professional Services team. This is a virtual role based in North America and will report to the VP of Professional Services.

As part of the Retail Professional Services team focused on Strategic Accounts, this role will sell and successfully deliver JDA solutions within the Retail industry sector for large strategic retail customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead major software and services sales by assembling Pre-sales, and Product teams to help demonstrate the value of the proposed solutions and proposing a recommended roadmap to lead companies to greater success.
    • Lead massive professional services team to successfully deliver the Jda Solutions purchased by the customer.
    • Focus on sustaining revenue at the customer by increasing the width and depth and of the solution footprint at the customer by systematically building on consecutive successful implementations
    • Stay ahead of current industry best practices and operate as a thought leader in Retail supply chain processes.
    • Use expert facilitation skills to lead clients to solutions and opportunities in the areas of business process, resource use and technology.
    • Maintain close working relationship with sales, management, consulting, customer support, product development and product management relating to securing and presenting appropriate proposal information to prospective clients and existing clients.
    • Drive high customer satisfaction at the assigned client(s)
    • Drive referencibility on deployed solutions at the assigned client(s)
    Required Skills
    • 60% extensive travel required - both domestic and international within North America
    • BS/BA degree equivalent required; MS/MBA preferred
    • Practical experience deploying advanced planning solutions from vendors such as Manugistics, i2 Technologies, Kinaxis or SAP APO, and assisting large companies to deploy such systems
    • 15+ years of managing large consulting programs with 25+ team members and $10+mil program budget
    • Commercial instinct to discover and develop new opportunities.
    • Experience with advanced planning tools is required
    • Strong knowledge of supply chain planning and execution processes
    • Good knowledge of tactical and operative planning processes
    • Profound understanding of the Retail industry, products, and trends
    • Demonstrated ease to navigate in complex project environments
    • Demonstrated experience negotiating and interfacing with C-Level Executives.
    • Ability to handle complex situations with little to no guidance
    • Ability to resolve complex problems with little to no guidance
    • Exceptional facilitation skills (meeting sessions, conflict resolutions, brainstorming etc.)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation and client relationship building skills
