Job Description

The Global Service Marketing Product Manager will direct the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s), including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing. The person in this role will be responsible for the following:

  • Monitors the development of business plans, managing lifecycles, and product positioning in the marketplace.
  • Reduces broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans.
  • Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs.
  • Establishes pricing strategies.
  • Interacts with engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s).
  • Leads new product definition and business plans with joint departments.
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Job Requirements

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge ? Ability, competence, and confidence to lead people. ? Effective interpersonal skills. Other Desired Skills and Knowledge ? Required Certifications and Training ? Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility. Experience Level with Business Tools ? Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. ? Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired. Bachelors Degree or equivalent 10 years of related experience. 5 years management experience.
