What will you do?

  • Provide strong input to product positioning, including developing brands’ Positioning Statements
  • Provide input into creating annual marketing plans for the full portfolio by influencing and agreeing revenue and margin AOP targets
  • Provide direction and develop briefings to shape execution by other Marketing departments
  • Drive implementation of sections of the annual marketing plan, e.g., for product lines, or for price and promotion across multiple product lines, working in close collaboration with other Marketing groups
  • Visit key customers, developing trusted partner relationships to deeply understand their workflows, current and future business needs.
  • Work with Sr. Marketing Manager to translate a deep understanding of customer workflows and customer needs into sharp customer insights.
  • Represent Thermo Fisher and his/her brands on international trade shows, as well as build relationships with customers, KOLs, regulators, etc.
  • Develop ongoing insights into the changing strategic forces that shape his/her products (e.g., markets, competitors, customers, suppliers, regulators, etc.)
  • Create product roadmaps, product lifecycle plans, and business cases for planned new products
  • Delegate to, support, and develop more junior team members in executing parts of the work above

How will you get there?

  • Scientific degree, PhD/ MBA preferred in relevant discipline
  • 5-7 years’ experience in Marketing of relevant products and services
  • Strong track record of driving improvement in business performance
  • Experience in global/international business
  • Experience in clinical lab environment and or clinically based research preferred
