Provide strong input to product positioning, including developing brands’ Positioning Statements
Provide input into creating annual marketing plans for the full portfolio by influencing and agreeing revenue and margin AOP targets
Provide direction and develop briefings to shape execution by other Marketing departments
Drive implementation of sections of the annual marketing plan, e.g., for product lines, or for price and promotion across multiple product lines, working in close collaboration with other Marketing groups
Visit key customers, developing trusted partner relationships to deeply understand their workflows, current and future business needs.
Work with Sr. Marketing Manager to translate a deep understanding of customer workflows and customer needs into sharp customer insights.
Represent Thermo Fisher and his/her brands on international trade shows, as well as build relationships with customers, KOLs, regulators, etc.
Develop ongoing insights into the changing strategic forces that shape his/her products (e.g., markets, competitors, customers, suppliers, regulators, etc.)
Create product roadmaps, product lifecycle plans, and business cases for planned new products
Delegate to, support, and develop more junior team members in executing parts of the work above
How will you get there?
Scientific degree, PhD/ MBA preferred in relevant discipline
5-7 years’ experience in Marketing of relevant products and services
Strong track record of driving improvement in business performance
Experience in global/international business
Experience in clinical lab environment and or clinically based research preferred
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple work streams
Ability to listen and influence across teams (without direct authority)
