The Global Security Systems & Technology team both programs and commissions Facebook’s security systems implement best-in-class technology, and partners with other teams within Facebook to enhance the security systems experience while keeping people and assets safe. As the Global Security Systems & Technology Quality Assurance Specialist, you will plan, conduct, and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.

Required Skills:

  1. Interpret and implement quality assurance standards

  2. Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities

  3. Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities and evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards

  4. Collect and compile statistical quality data

  5. Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements

  6. Draft quality assurance policies and procedures

  7. Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data

  8. Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems

  9. Investigate customer complaints, and non-conformance issues

  10. Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions

  11. Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards

  12. Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+years of experience in Physical Security

  2. 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control

  3. Knowledge of Networking foundation and Network Security

  4. Experienced in Access Controls Systems such as CCure, On Guard, etc.

  5. Experienced in Video Management Systems such as Genetec, DVtel

  6. Experienced with Physical Security Hardware: Access Control Panels, IP Cameras, Sensors, Electric Locks

  7. Knowledge of building code and life safety code applied to physical security

  8. Knowledge of project management

  9. Ability to work under minimal supervision, self-directed
