Position Overview

The selected candidate will work closely with Sales and Systems Engineers and other team members to proactively prospect, propose, close and manage global solutions for Enterprise Clients. Mid-sized clients are also welcome. Duplication in the enterprise space will be minimal, GSM's can sell to clients anywhere in the US. With a very low quota, some GSM's have retired their entire annual quota with just a few sales and are earning in excess of 300K. Candidates will be asked to represent at third party and industry conferences and therefore a high degree of professionalism and self-governance is expected.

Background and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in direct sales in the global telecommunications industry with proficiency in SD WAN, Hybrid WAN, Global VPN, IoT, Cloud and Managed Services solutions. A general understanding of current trends in the global telecommunications landscape is also required. Networking, WIFI, Security, etc..
  • Stable background and demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding a monthly sales quota of 5K or more in new monthly recurring revenue with a strong focus on NEW LOGO ACQUISITIONS. Verifiable track record of success.
  • Prospecting, growing and maintaining a pipeline that is 3X to 5X sales quota target with enterprise customers anywhere in the US. Lead all stages of the sales cycle as needed to support the conversion of opportunities to sales.
  • Creatively and proactively leverage LinkedIn, annual reports, social media, blogs/vlogs, client partners, networking groups etc, to generate new leads, and new customers.
  • An understanding of Salesforce for account planning, forecasting and funnel management.
  • Charismatic, with excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills (someone who can connect well with customers quickly and can build strong relationships based on trust, integrity and customer satisfaction.
  • Must also be a strong team member, motivated and enthusiastic contributor, who works well as part of a group and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
