The Global Sales Compensation Operations Senior Manager will be responsible for supporting the Sales Compensation organization through data analytics, project management, process improvement and automation, as well as policy standardization, furthering team efficiency and impact.

Across the company, Veritas has approximately 35 core sales functions covering nearly 3,000 sales employees relying on sales compensation process, policy and support that covers direct, partner, renewal, services organizations. This role is to support the yearly refresh of all plans, programs, or other sales compensation practices to allow the sales teams to focus on customers, not back-office.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned, results-oriented operations professional who possesses a broad understanding of sales, sales management and technical services, and how they operate with compensation models. This individual is innovative, strategic and highly analytical, problem-solving and solution-oriented. He or she has a successful track record of managing transformational change and an ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments. The candidate will have strong partnering, organization, communication, analytical and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate roll-out of the Sales Compensation Strategy, and related assets for the year-to-year refresh between the multi-functional teams
• Manage the build and delivery of monthly and quarterly sales compensation metric reports related to plan success, high attainments, non-standard payments, quota health and overall sales compensation effectiveness
• Provide consultation and analysis to senior leadership on various sales incentive plans.
• Support work streams responsible for sales coverage, plan assignments quotas and program costing
• Continue efforts to automate manual workflows/tracking related to quota submissions, tracking, plan releases, etc
• Manage monthly exception request process to and through the Compensation Exception Committee
• Responsible for other ad hoc data analysis and reporting requirements to support global compensation programs, as well as finance, operations, and sales management

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree Required / MBA or equivalent preferred
• 10+ years of work experience with 5 years of relevant experience in Sales Operations related to Sales Compensation
• General compensation knowledge at global high-tech companies
• Strong understanding and experience with sales compensation structures and mechanics (e.g., plan components and weights, pay mix, leverage, quotas, MBOs, crediting, accelerators)
• Prior ownership and implementation, consistent execution, and accurate measurement of sales incentive programs
• Ability to understand, manipulate and create quantitative and qualitative metrics to gauge effectiveness of the company's programs and translating data into reports and solutions to improve programs and practices
• Data analytics comfort using complex disparate sources
• Demonstrates ability to influence and communicate knowledgeably and credibly with senior management and internal constituents
• Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities
