The Product and Sales Activation team (PSA) is a global team whose mission is to bring product to market and market to product. We collaborate closely across partner teams such as Product Management, Marketing, Global Performance and other Google Marketing Solutions (GMS) teams. The team is responsible for understanding and advocating for products and product features that will make GMS customers successful in their digital marketing efforts while delivering against strategic business targets; identifying and working across GMS to set and deliver on priority growth initiatives. To accomplish this, the PSA organization combines strong strategic, problem solving, and execution skills with a strong drive for delivering results across a global organization.

The Local team is at the heart of innovation and growth for small businesses. We are relentlessly focused on understanding the needs of all segments through market research, scaled product feedback, and testing new products with small and medium businesses. We partner closely with the Ads and Geo teams to lay out the longterm vision for local and small businesses while activating sales, partnerships, and service teams globally to deliver on-boarding and support programs. The Global Product Lead (GPL) role will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, gTech to drive product strategy and sales enablement.

As the Global Product Lead for Smart Campaigns, you will be passionate about helping small businesses achieve success through scalable strategies. You have a good understanding of the Local Advertising space and understand the key challenges for small and medium businesses (SMBs). You strive to improve the status quo and critically think through business problems and synthesize information for a senior audience. You have a deep understanding of business and stakeholder needs combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities. You are results focused, a fast and structured executor while staying focused on the long term goals of the team.

  • Drive product strategy through data-driven thought leadership, market feedback and deep partnership withProduct Management team.
  • Collaborate with product teams on design sprints, product requirement documents, business requirement documents, and product/sales pilots.
  • Identify new opportunities to grow AdWords Express (segment analysis, opportunity sizing, pricing, etc).
  • Build and operationalize go-to-market strategies to support strategic goals aligning stakeholders across various teams.
  • Manage new product/feature launches including communications, training and assisting with product readiness testing on as as-needed basis.
