Job Summary

As a Global Private Client Service Senior Staff involved in both compliance and consulting on a variety of projects, strong technical and communication skills are vital to this role. Tax consulting includes performing tax research and working with high net worth clients, entrepreneurs and their businesses on tax matters as well as planning and implementing special projects. The Senior Staff is responsible for the compliance function on clients corporate, partnership and personal income tax returns. The tax practice is growing tremendously and we consider this role as a step toward Partner.

Responsibilities:

  • Your role will include overseeing tax compliance, identifying tax planning and consulting opportunities, preparation and review of client tax projections and calculations, and supervising and developing staff.
  • Be the in charge for monitor multiple client engagements.
  • Identify and assist with implementation of tax planning and tax savings strategies.
  • Research and consult on complex tax matters.
  • Work closely with partners, managers and staff to integrate efficient standard operating procedures and practice development skills using a team approach to client service.
  • Work with staff assignments and scheduling and meet client and government deadlines.

Qualifications

  • BS in Accounting required, Masters in Taxation or LLM is a plus
  • CPA preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in public accounting or corporate/public blend
  • High Net Worth Individual Tax Practice experience including working individuals, trusts, private partnerships and S-Corporations
  • Possess effective writing, communication and tax research skills
  • Experience with international tax a plus
