Accountabilities in this role

This global marketing role focuses on product management, new product development & global commercial enablement for the Urology portfolio.

  • Manage P&L responsibilities for the global Urology product portfolio, within the General Medical GBU of Cardinal Health’s Global Products & Services sector
  • Develop 5-yearportfolio strategy and manage all maintenance of business & new product development activity in partnership with R&D, project management, finance & regional leadership
  • Develop strong relationships with regional marketing leadership in the Americas, EMEA and APAC and curate global marketing plan
  • Achieve global financial targets though marketing activity related market development, medical affairs resource deployment & commercial enablement activity
  • Assume responsibility for successful operational performance of portfolio across a variety of operational support partners including manufacturing, logistics, sourcing, planning, QA, regulatory affairs
  • Research, analyze, and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity
  • Develop and recommend product positioning and pricing strategies to optimize revenue, market share and profitability
  • Develop Key Opinion Leader relationships; focusing on appropriate clinical associations, targeted market development and key customers across global landscape
  • Develop and manage the assigned product center’s operating budgets
  • Close engagement with Sales management counterparts to ensure close alignment of goals and expectations
  • Creates annual sales plans to inform territory representatives on strategic and tactical imperatives
  • Generates pertinent collateral, web content and other customer-facing selling aids
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures to achieve organizational goals
  • Assists in the development of functional strategy
  • Decisions have an extended impact on work processes, outcomes, and customers
  • Interacts with internal and/or external leaders, including senior management, Sales, and Cardinal Health strategy and segment leaders

Qualifications

  • Bachelors and Advanced degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of sales, marketing and other relevant experience is required
  • Global marketing experience strongly preferred
  • A proven track record of managing and developing direct reports preferred
  • A strong working knowledge of Urology served markets is desired, with knowledge of both acute and post-acute channels
  • Strong financial skills specific to P&L and Proforma interpretation
  • Must be able to travel 30-50% of the time, including some global travel
