The Global Payroll Manager is responsible for the administration, processing, reporting, and delivery of payroll services for Kyriba NORAM. Additionally, the Global Payroll Manager is responsible for the oversight of APAC and other Global PEO payroll.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for administering all aspects of payroll for over 300 US based employees in a timely and accurate manner.
Collaborate and manage outside payroll providers for Canada, Asia and other PEO companies to ensure payroll services are processed in accordance with Kyriba requirements.
Responsible for all payroll tax activities, including compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and filing local, state, and federal payroll tax returns.
Research laws and regulations regarding taxes and payroll withholding procedures.
Participate in month end closing activities including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of preparing budgets, projections, and special reports for senior management.
Processing of garnishments and wage levies.
Special payroll runs for bonuses, voluntary and involuntary termination checks.
Bachelor's or Associates degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education and applicable work experience.
10+ years experience administering in-house multi-state payroll services.
In depth experience utilizing Workday payroll is a plus.
Expertise with state registrations and tax reporting.
Experience with payroll related audits.
Knowledge of Canadian and Asia payroll laws preferred.
Demonstrate both the ability and motivation to work collaboratively in a team environment, across regions and functions, as well as working independently with minimal oversight.
Strong, professional verbal and written communication skills.
Team player and comfortable working in fast-paced, growth environment.
