Position Description:

Lenovo's Consumer Segment Marketing Group is looking for a seasoned Marketer with 4-6 years of experience to join our global consumer marketing team. This candidate will be the bridge between global marketing and one/multiple geographies providing strategic direction and global marketing plans for local implementation.

Strategic Marketing Planning

• Drives geo alignment on global marketing strategies and oversees campaign planning, implementation, and execution

• Manage and track marketing performance & business impact from a global & local level

• Drive brand consistency across sales and marketing strategies

• Solid understanding of digital media and e-commerce marketing strategies

• Strong understanding of retailer/channel marketing

Integrated Marketing Communications

• Builds relationships and proactively engages with cross-functional teams for sharing of all Global campaign guidance and assets

• Own the product launch work-back and asset handoff to geo teams

• Weekly tracking of deliverables, identify risks early and mitigate delayss

Marketing Investment Management

• Manage Global marketing investments, define Ts & Cs and provide funding guidance to geo marketing teams

• Manage alliance marketing investment for relevant countries & products

• Review and approve local marketing plans

• Release funding, review spending, align with BU finance & geo ops for compliance

Sell-in enablement and Training

• Drive and validate solid thinking and strategy from Mar-com and Product Marketing, ensuring we deliver a convincing sell-in to retailers and a coherent strategy across Geo functions

Position Requirements:

• Strategic thinker with 4-6 years experience in consumer marketing or advertising

• Start-up mindset. Flexible, hands-on approach to business

• Strong bias to execution; roll up your sleeves and get stuff done

• Solid presentation (ppt) and negotiating/selling skills

• Budget and project management skills

• MBA in Marketing or Communications preferred but not mandatory
