Role Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Sales Strategy, Enablement and Operations of Worldwide Commercial Sales for AWS, this role will focus on developing and driving strategy, analytics and data management to optimize the rapid growth of our cloud business. This individual will need to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to solve problems, implement new reporting solutions, create operational efficiencies, and deliver successfully against high organizational standards.

The successful candidate must be a strong leader, and will draw upon solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. The individual must have deep experience in managing a constantly evolving sales organization utilizing and defining strategies to support the rapid growth of AWS

Key Responsibilities:
· Partner with WWCS sales leadership to develop and monitor strategy
· Provide thought leadership and catalyze action around GTM strategies for both direct and indirect sales teams
· Influence sales executives and influence required change management
· Drive efficiencies and global focus across a complex and matrixed enterprise sales teams across the organization
· Responsibilities will also include leading the team(s) who provide “Propensity to Buy” analysis and the econometrics team
· Orchestrate an annual strategic planning operating rhythm for the commercial sales leadership teams around the world
Provide thought leadership for sales role definitions, compensation strategy and compensation plan design


· BA/BS Degree required; advanced degree preferred
· 15+ years of experience in both enterprise technology sales and sales operations
· Is a self-starter who can operate independently
· Demonstrated track record of success with strategic and operational matters
· Ability to lead teams across a broad set of functions and geographies to develop new ideas and creative solutions for difficult, ambiguous and complex issues
· Persuasive verbal & written communication skills with senior leaders
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion
