Through deep understanding of our marketing goals and partners' needs you'll develop and evangelize for a technology roadmap to meet this challenge. By strategically developing internal and incorporating external solutions you'll create powerful and unique capabilities across our marketing execution lifecycle. You'll attract and develop a high performing team of marketing technology experts. Alongside your team you'll work closely with cross-functional marketing, technology and external partners.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook, have worked in marketing, deep hands on knowledge with a variety of marketing technologies and product management experience. Managing multiple complex projects, competing priorities with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment is where you thrive.

  • Create a vision for marketing technology aligned with a deep understanding of global business marketing goals.
  • Establish and continuously improve the necessary infrastructure and products to support global business marketing activities across the full lifecycle including planning, development, activation and analytics.
  • Partner with marketing to develop a deep understanding of requirements and create a robust technology roadmap to satisfy requirements.
  • Understand technology trends to develop trend-setting capabilities by strategically combining internally developed and purchased solutions.
  • Partner closely with Enterprise Engineering partners in solutions development and ensure timely and high-quality delivery against roadmap.
  • Streamline technology communications and change management at a complex, global scale.
  • Apply data to inform technology roadmap and to enable marketing at scale.
  • Mentor direct and indirect reports to develop a high performing team and enable people.


  • Technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on ownership of a variety of marketing technologies including analytics, CRM, personalization, and marketing automation
  • 12+ years' leadership experience
  • 5+ years' experience in technology implementation from requirements through design, development, user acceptance, and post deployment
  • 3+ years' people management experience leading product managers and technical experts
  • Project management, technical and organizational experience
  • Proven experience in attracting and developing teams
  • Experience managing priorities
  • Communication experience and experience presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences


  • MBA or advanced technical degree
  • Data science or analytics background
