Summary:

This position requires a passion for delivering the ultimate customer experience, reinforcing the brand and evolving the eCommerce channel, combined with drive and business acumen to build revenue and develop account growth strategies.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Defines the vision, business plan, and key metric objectives for eCommerce channel initiatives
  • Interacts with and coordinates all major business functions (Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service) to incorporate eCommerce activities and business process improvement requirements
  • Identifies, evaluates, and manages/engages key third party/vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and renewals. Primary outside vendors include (but not limited to) Sitecore Commerce support and development, SEO/PPC, and outside marketing agencies
  • Directs and manages prioritization and execution of timely web support, functionality, and development tickets
  • Create and develop eCommerce strategies to fulfill revenue plans and deliver optimum customer experience
  • Lead the eCommerce team driving day to day execution of strategies, tactics, campaigns and Web-based merchandising activities
  • Manage expense budgeting and forecasting for eCommerce
  • Drive site experience improvements through analytics, testing, customer research and UI/UX best practices to foster increased conversion and average order value (AOV) while maintaining strong customer satisfaction
  • Create action-oriented, data-driven enhancement plans for inbound content, site, and traffic and marketing campaign analysis
  • Drive execution of content and merchandising initiatives and programs to ensure freshness, relevancy, consistency and adherence to brand standards
  • Continue to build and develop a very talented team of business, merchandising, and creative professionals
  • Direct digital marketing initiatives focusing on email, Search Engine Optimization, Digital advertising, Pay Per Click, and Social
  • Oversee process, budget and resources (internal and external) to secure appropriate digital assets and related product content in order to drive product sales and company/brand story
  • Foster growth of ScanSource.com as a digital organization by setting up processes and systems that provide a roadmap for optimum content, development and growth for the digitalchannel
  • Keep current with the latest B2B eCommerce trends and technology to drive innovation and stay ahead of competition (SWOT analysis)

Reporting Relationships: Director, Digital Experience

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Digital Marketing, or similar required
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
  • Five to ten years’ experience in digital commerce
  • Strong experience in B2B eCommerce and digital marketing preferred
  • Managing a team of 4-8 web business, technical, creative, and merchant professionals
  • Knowledge of Sitecore Commerce or other eCommerce engines/platforms
  • Knowledge of Sitecore or other enterprise platforms
  • Understanding of SEO, SEM, Google Adwords, and PPC
  • Experience/understanding of email/marketing automation programs Salesforce Pardot
  • Strong business skills with solid financial acumen
  • Ability to develop strategies and lead cross-functional teams in tactical execution
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with senior management, product and sales team, peers, vendor/agency partners and manage those relationships to achieve strategic and marketing goals
  • Data driven with excellent analytic skills
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Proactive and resourceful in solving problems; making decisions and executing on goals

  • Experience preferred in managing/leading third-party marketplace technology platforms

  • Creative, with a keen eye for design/detail/communication
  • Strong time and project management skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for long periods of time.
  • Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location during normal business hours designated for this position.
  • Ability to lift 10 pounds.
