Sr Ld Eng & Architecture
The Senior Lead Engineer & Architecture oversees the development of multiple types/categories of technical architecture and operating systems for running end user applications. Working in partnership with other leaders, this job develops and implements new products, processes, standards and operational plans that directly impact the department. This job is a recognized master in the Information Systems Architecture field.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Leads complex architecture requirements analysis to convert end user needs into technical solutions.
- Audits systems design and technology constraints in accordance with compliance requirements.
- Oversees development of key capabilities and performance requirements when developing system architectures.
- Approves technical specifications and standards for layered and multidimensional models.
- Delivers solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and applications across the enterprise.
- Communicates the design of the technical architecture clearly to other leaders within the organization.
- Develops complex data modeling and implements advanced project management processes.

The Global Network Architect will manage the research, strategic development, implementation and guide the design and planning for the enterprise-wide architecture for the Global Enterprise Network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and assess the strategies of the enterprise architecture and roadmaps; have a key focus on redundancy, flexibility, and stability.
- Define and execute a Global Network Strategy that enables our associates to be productive 7x24 regardless of geography to deliver services with minimal downtime.
- Understand, and design, for the full platform product life cycle.
- Perform research on new network technologies and prototype solutions that can be leveraged to decrease costs and increase performance; make recommendations, gain approval, and develop implementation strategies for new technologies.
- Evaluate and recommend product selection to ensure that organizational goals for security, reliability and performance are achieved.
- Participates in service reviews.
- Develop and maintain network standards.
- Drive the adoption of Software Defined Networking and Infrastructure as Code.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate tools and target state connectivity solutions, service management and service catalog integrations.
- Partner with Federated Architecture community, Application Development, End User Computing and Cyber Security to architect, and design solutions that align to standards and best practices.

- Bachelor’s degree
- 7 years’ experience in the design, development, configuring and implementation of enterprise networks with diverse solutions from multiple vendors on a large enterprise and global scale.
- Professional certification
- Demonstrated understanding of network and data center architecture, including cloud architectures in design, implementation, and operations such as Google, Web services, Amazon, and Azure.
- Knowledge of networking infrastructure suppliers and service offerings including or similar to Cisco, Viptela, F5 Networks, Palo Alto, Riverbed, Zscaler, AT&T, Luman (CentruyLink) and Telstra
- Knowledge of security design principles ensuring secure, scalable, and supportable network design architectures.
